Registered Nurse – Part‑Time (16 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Stratford care home on a permanent part‑time basis (16 hours per week). The role involves providing high‑quality nursing care across AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, supporting the well‑being of our residents and contributing to a warm, caring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to aged‑care residents.
• Lead and mentor junior staff members as required.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in on‑call rosters, including night shifts.
• Ensure compliance with Nga Paerewa standards and the Treaty of Waitangi in daily practice.

Required profile

• Current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Previous RN experience in New Zealand or overseas, preferably in aged‑care settings.
• Strong communication, teamwork and empathy.
• Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
