About the role

We are seeking a Project Director to lead New Zealand's largest commercial construction project, a high‑profile airport development for Auckland Airport. This senior leadership position offers real autonomy and the chance to shape a career‑defining programme.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the overall delivery of the airport project, ensuring it meets time, budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, procurement and construction.
• Manage relationships with the client, subcontractors and regulatory authorities.
• Provide strategic guidance and decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing major construction projects, preferably airport‑related.
• Background with a tier‑1 or leading main contractor.
• Strong track record of delivering complex programmes on schedule and within budget.
• Ideally New Zealand citizenship or residency.
