Power Platform Functional Architect

About the role

EY is looking for a senior Power Platform Functional Architect to lead the design and delivery of grants and funding management solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with clients, architects and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional design and fit‑gap analysis for grants and funding solutions on Power Platform.
• Define future‑state business processes, user journeys and end‑to‑end solution flows.
• Design end‑to‑end grants lifecycle solutions, including applications, assessments, approvals, awards, claims and reporting.
• Create and review external portal experiences using Power Pages for applicants and grantees.
• Facilitate client workshops, walkthroughs and design sessions, acting as the functional point of contact throughout delivery.
• Support commercial activities such as pursuits, proposals and opportunity sizing from a functional perspective.

Required profile

• Experience in functional design, fit‑gap analysis and stakeholder workshops.
• Understanding of public‑sector compliance, accessibility and user‑experience standards.
• Familiarity with grants management or public‑sector delivery is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure scalable, platform‑aligned solutions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platform – Dataverse, model‑driven apps, canvas apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI.
• Azure integration services, APIs, middleware and event‑based integration patterns.
• ERP integration experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) – desirable.
