Machine Operator – Powder Plant (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

Vitaco is seeking reliable Machine Operators for its Powder Plant in East Tamaki. You will work the afternoon shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) in a highly regulated, hygiene‑focused environment producing nutrition powders for New Zealand and overseas markets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder processing and packaging machinery.
• Perform quality checks and accurately record production data.
• Handle raw materials and finished powders in line with GMP and hygiene standards.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• Positive, team‑focused attitude and high reliability.
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 25 kg regularly.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts.
• Experience in powder, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
