Lead Enterprise Architect

About the role

Spark is looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect to create enterprise‑wide coherence across technology domains, translate strategy into capability‑led roadmaps, and ensure governance that reduces risk and technical debt. You will shape the company’s technology direction while partnering with senior leaders across product, delivery, platforms, security and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern Spark’s enterprise‑wide technology strategy.
• Lead a team of Enterprise and Solution Architects, raising practice standards.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align priorities, roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Run pragmatic governance rhythms – forums, decision registers and exception management – to enable fast, confident delivery.
• Champion modern architecture practices such as modularity, APIs, cloud, data and secure‑by‑design within agile contexts.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in enterprise/portfolio architecture within a complex organisation.
• Strong capability modelling and roadmap development experience.
• Demonstrated governance leadership (principles, standards, design reviews, trade‑offs, exceptions).
• People leadership skills: coaching, mentoring, raising craft quality.
• Executive‑level communication ability to frame options, risks and trade‑offs.
