About the role
The Land Information Memorandum (LIM) Officer supports Hamilton City Council by delivering accurate, compliant LIM reports to customers within statutory timeframes. This role is part of the Customer and Community Group and contributes directly to the council’s disclosure obligations, helping property owners make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Produce LIM reports that meet legislative and statutory deadlines.
- Gather and interpret information from internal subject‑matter experts.
- Ensure all LIM activities comply with relevant legislation and council policies.
- Manage workload to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Escalate complex or high‑risk matters to senior staff as required.
- Provide clear, professional written and verbal customer service.
- Support the team during peak periods and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus with proven experience in a LIM or similar regulatory environment.
- Ability to manage detailed information accurately under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time‑management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
- Willingness to collaborate and support the wider team.
