Junior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer you will work alongside experienced Software and QA Engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain modern software solutions on the Comrad platform. This position is ideal for an early‑career professional eager to learn, solve problems, and contribute to tools that support healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and team discussions.
• Troubleshoot issues and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well‑documented code.
• Learn and apply modern software engineering practices and tools, including AI‑enabled productivity tools.

Required profile

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming and software development principles.
• Experience through study, internships, or personal projects building software applications.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
• A passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI‑assisted development tools.
