Investment Analyst (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Investment Analyst on a contract basis to support our investment team with rigorous financial analysis and modeling. The role offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and the opportunity to work on AI‑driven financial projects while influencing investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, LBO and other valuation frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive investment analysis to evaluate business opportunities and associated risks.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for capital‑markets decisions.
• Monitor market trends, financial news and emerging fintech developments to refine strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align AI‑focused projects with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in financial or investment analysis, preferably in capital markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Expertise in DCF, LBO, valuation techniques and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience handling large datasets and deriving insights.

What we offer
