Housekeeping Attendant – Queenstown

About the role

Delaware North New Zealand is seeking two Housekeeping Attendants to join the team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and public areas to resort standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to resort standards, including linen changes and room setup.
• Follow cleaning checklists and promptly report maintenance or repair issues.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, stock levels, and handle chemicals safely in line with OH&S policies.
• Provide professional guest service by greeting guests, responding to requests, and escalating issues when required.
• Collaborate with team members while adhering to company policies, Code of Conduct, and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or resort accommodation (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with hotel environments and guest interaction standards (beneficial).
• Training or knowledge in OH&S, chemical handling, or infection control (beneficial).
• Willingness to undertake on‑the‑job training and develop skills.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand or ability to obtain a valid visa.
