Frontend Engineer (Remote, Contract, Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to design and maintain high‑quality web interfaces in a fully remote, contract‑based role. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to deliver fast, scalable, and user‑friendly applications.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimise applications for speed and scalability.
• Implement best practices in frontend engineering, code reviews and continuous integration.
• Translate complex requirements into clean, efficient, reusable code components.
• Communicate proactively through written and verbal channels, contributing to a strong team culture.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands‑on experience in modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready web applications.
• Strong ability to write clear, maintainable code following industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals.
• Attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex frontend issues.
