Financial Modeller – Business Advisory Services

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Modeller to join our Business Advisory Services team in Auckland. Working closely with a Business Advisory Services Director, you will build high‑quality financial models that directly influence client decisions and gain exposure to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyse financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis and business planning.
• Prepare financial reports, tax compliance work, financial statements and other client deliverables.
• Support a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.
• Utilise Modano specialist financial modelling software (training provided).

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or equivalent qualification.
• Progress towards CA or CPA qualification.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Professional, client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Xero or APS (advantageous).
