Driver / Labourer / Operator – Asphalt Crew

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Driver, Labourer or Operator to join our Asphalt Crew based in Invercargill. The role involves a variety of asphalt paving, handwork and general site duties across Southland and Otago, supporting the construction of high-quality road surfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Perform asphalt paving and reinstatement work.
• Carry out general handwork and labouring duties.
• Drive trucks and operate machinery such as rollers, diggers, loaders and pavers.
• Prepare sites and conduct cleanup activities.
• Maintain safety standards while working as part of an asphalt crew.

Required profile

• Class 2, 4 or 5 licence (including W, T, R endorsements).
• Experience operating trucks, rollers, diggers, loaders and pavers.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Team player who arrives ready to work and takes pride in the job.
