Afternoon Shift Supervisor – Folding Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our folding team at our state‑of‑the‑art sheet‑metal facility in Christchurch. You will ensure smooth production runs, maintain high safety standards, and support a skilled crew of machine operators.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of machine operators during the afternoon shift.
• Operate brake press folding and CNC machines when required.
• Coordinate work orders to meet production targets.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Required profile

• Proven experience with brake press folding and CNC operation.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude.
• Desirable experience in turret punching or laser cutting.
