Account Manager – Retail & Supermarket (Dunedin)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to represent Pernod Ricard’s premium spirits portfolio across the lower South Island, based in Dunedin. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with retail liquor outlets and supermarkets, and ensuring excellent in‑store execution of our brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow a structured territory call plan to meet sales and execution targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing high‑level service and commercial support.
• Drive in‑store execution including distribution, merchandising, displays and promotional activities.
• Pre‑sell promotions, support brand activations such as tastings and staff education, and increase brand visibility.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor competitor activity, manage stock or delivery issues and communicate updates internally.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in FMCG or beverage sector.
• Successful B2B sales background with strong relationship‑building skills.
• RSA certification and a full driving licence.
• Ambitious, results‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
