Account Manager – Retail Agency

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Auckland team and support an iconic Australian and New Zealand retail brand. The role sits within The Brand Agency, a leading full‑service retail specialist agency part of WPP and the Ogilvy Network. You will work closely with senior account managers, creative, strategy and production teams to deliver integrated campaigns from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support integrated campaigns, including creative brief development, budgeting, timeline management and shoot planning.
• Collaborate with strategy, creative, production and studio teams as well as client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Check artwork accuracy, manage client changes and maintain brief integrity.
• Facilitate weekly internal and client WIP meetings and drive progress.
• Attend on‑site shoots alongside the account and creative teams.
• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding agency values.

Required profile

• Some experience working in the creative or advertising industry.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
