Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join CARTERS Tauranga’s growing team. You will work closely with residential builders, commercial contractors and developers across the Bay of Plenty, helping them find the right building solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing customer ledger and develop new business opportunities.
• Visit building sites regularly to identify needs, propose solutions and anticipate future requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams on stock availability, delivery times and pricing.
• Drive the sales process for frame and truss manufacturing from estimate to production.
• Maintain and grow relationships with suppliers to deliver complete packages.

Required profile

• Strong background in trade or construction with established relationships in the Bay of Plenty.
• Proven sales and relationship‑management track record.
• Highly self‑motivated with excellent work ethic and commercial agility.
• Ability to plan, organise and act as a hunter for emerging market opportunities.
