About the role
As an Account Executive focused on SMB acquisition, you will directly influence the growth of Uber Eats in New Zealand by bringing high‑quality restaurant and merchant partners onto the platform. Your work will shape the marketplace’s restaurant selection, creating a winning experience for both consumers and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full acquisition cycle for New Zealand’s highest‑priority local restaurant partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding each partner’s unique challenges and articulating Uber Eats’ value proposition.
- Represent the voice of the customer and take ownership of the merchant experience.
- Lead a defined territory with a strategic approach to acquire the highest‑value merchants.
Required profile
- Proven ability to manage an end‑to‑end sales cycle, from first contact to revenue generation.
- Executional excellence – consistently deliver results and improve processes despite setbacks.
- Strong communication skills with empathy to convey information persuasively.
- Negotiation and business acumen to build long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships.
