About the role

LeeSalmonLong is seeking a qualified solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join its specialist litigation team in Auckland. The role is full‑time and on‑site, offering the chance to work on high‑profile civil disputes across New Zealand’s courts and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters for corporate and private clients.
• Represent clients in the District Court, High Court, appeal courts, arbitrations and mediations.
• Collaborate directly with partners and external senior counsel to develop case strategy.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other court documents.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience as a solicitor.
• Excellent academic transcript.
• Full‑time availability and willingness to work on‑site in Auckland.
