Senior Risk Analyst – Credit Risk Acquisition

About the role

As a Senior Risk Analyst in the Acquisition and Policy Credit Risk team, you will use data to shape lending decisions, improve customer outcomes and support sustainable portfolio growth. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, tackling complex problems and using programming and analytical tools to uncover meaningful insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets and develop insights to shape acquisition strategies for personal and small‑business lending portfolios.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data and Product stakeholders to turn complex information into practical recommendations.
• Identify trends, opportunities and emerging risks across lending portfolios using programming tools.
• Develop and enhance acquisition strategies, policies and decision‑making frameworks through analytical insight.
• Monitor portfolio performance, assess the impact of strategy changes and provide clear recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong programming and analytical skills with experience in SQL, Python, SAS, R, Tableau or GCP.
• Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in banking, financial services or credit‑risk environments and a relevant quantitative degree.
