About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Receptionist to join our team at Granger House Lifecare in Greymouth. This permanent part‑time position (19 hours per week, Monday‑Friday) offers the chance to contribute to a warm, caring environment for our residents and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries promptly.
- Welcome and support visitors, residents and staff at the front desk.
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and filing.
- Assist with invoicing and on‑charging processes as required.
- Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
Required profile
- Previous administration experience in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sector standards and the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.
Required skills
- Computer literacy with quick learning of new systems.
- Experience with invoicing or willingness to learn the process.
