About the role
The Procurement Coordinator provides day‑to‑day operational and administrative support to the Infrastructure Procurement team, helping deliver scheduled procurement activities for the education sector.
Key responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end delivery of procurement activities, including preparation of procurement and evaluation plans.
- Produce periodic reports on key procurement metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant processes, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Review, coordinate and store procurement documentation for approval.
- Provide administrative assistance with the Ministry’s contract management tool.
Required profile
- Proven experience supporting busy projects or procurement teams.
- Positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude and ability to work in a public‑sector or construction environment.
- Strong initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to adhere to Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

What we offer
- Salary range $65,801 – $79,195 per annum plus KiwiSaver.
