About the role
Join Woolworths Pharmacy’s growing network of over 45 locations across New Zealand as a Pharmacy Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of community pharmacy practice while supporting the health needs of local communities.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions and manage medication inventory.
- Provide medication counselling and health advice to diverse patient groups.
- Participate in role‑play training sessions and an annual professional development conference.
- Collaborate with preceptors and pharmacy teams across multiple sites.
- Maintain compliance with New Zealand pharmacy legislation and standards.
Required profile
- Currently completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in New Zealand or Australia, with graduation expected by the end of 2026.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
- Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Willingness to undertake a 12‑month intern year starting December 2026.
Required skills
- KAPS pharmacy management system.
- Completion of a pharmacy legislation course.
