Learning Diversity & Inclusion Leader (POL3)

About the role

St Catherine of Siena School is seeking an experienced Learning Diversity & Inclusion Leader to join its leadership cycle from 2026 to 2028. The role begins in Term 3, 2026 and is attached to an ongoing teaching appointment, supporting students with altered learning programs and additional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Learning Diversity & Inclusion Program in alignment with pastoral care and curriculum.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and create positive learning environments for individual student needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff on differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Catholic education values and child safety and wellbeing standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of individualized and differentiated instruction.
• Experience modelling contemporary teaching practices that address how students learn best.
• Knowledge of Australian curriculum frameworks.
• Ability to lead, innovate, and hold team members accountable.
• Commitment to Catholic education and child safety.

Required skills

• Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Strong knowledge of Australian curriculum frameworks.
