Inventory Coordinator II

About the role

Rocket Lab is seeking an Inventory Coordinator II to join its Auckland Production Complex. The role ensures that every component arrives on time and in the right quantity, supporting the fast‑paced manufacturing of rockets and satellites.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT) metrics by managing inbound goods on a FIFO basis.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and keep stock records accurate.
• Prepare and deliver production kits and components to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Supply Kanban materials to the shop floor and replenish raw‑material inventories as needed.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch items securely while adhering to 5S warehouse organization standards.
• Collaborate with production and supply‑chain teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
• Provide professional, walk‑up customer service for internal and external inquiries.

Required profile

• Based onsite in Auckland, working Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high‑tempo environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and production demands.
