About the role
ACC is looking for an enthusiastic HR Support professional to join the People & Culture People Systems team. This position offers a solid entry point into the HR field, providing hands‑on experience with HR transactions, digital platforms and customer‑focused service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely HR administrative and system‑related support.
- Use the Te Kahu platform to process a wide range of HR transactions.
- Manage delivery of employment documentation through digital channels.
- Answer the onboarding phone line and troubleshoot technical issues for new employees.
- Assist customers in navigating HR systems and accessing information independently.
- Identify and suggest improvements to processes, tools and system clarity.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, systems and procedures.
Required profile
- Genuine interest in Human Resources and a desire to develop HR knowledge.
- Comfortable using multiple digital systems and learning new tools quickly.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, especially for technical or process‑based queries.
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Resilient, calm under pressure and willing to ask for help when needed.
Required skills
- Experience with the Te Kahu HR system (or similar HR platforms).
