Group Head of Marketing

About the role

This newly created position will lead the marketing function for NZ Clinical Research, a leading clinical research organisation in Australasia. Reporting to the Group Chief Strategy Officer, you will shape group‑wide marketing, brand and communications strategy across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified marketing, brand and communications strategy for New Zealand, Australia, the US, Europe and China.
• Lead the evolution of brand architecture, positioning, messaging and market presence across business units.
• Design and implement customer‑engagement, demand‑generation and lead‑nurturing programmes for global customers.
• Build scalable marketing systems, processes and governance frameworks.
• Shape internal communications, employee engagement and employer‑brand initiatives for a 1,000‑person trans‑Tasman workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading B2B marketing, brand or communications functions in a complex, multi‑site or multi‑market environment.
• Strong strategic capability with a willingness to build capability in a greenfield role.
• Demonstrated success developing brand strategy, customer‑engagement programmes and demand‑generation initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work with diverse technical and operational teams.
• Experience with international customers and distributed teams across multiple geographies.
