Full‑time Kitchen Team Member – Glass Goose Bar & Eatery

About the role

We're getting busier, and as such need some more help in the kitchen. This position is ideal for a passionate, hard‑working individual committed to high standards and eager to develop kitchen skills.

Key responsibilities

• Complete ordering and stocktaking to manage food costs.
• Manage rosters and wage costs.
• Monitor quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
• Discuss food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staff.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures.
• Prepare and cook food to consistently high standards.
• Follow the food control plan and maintain cleaning standards.
• Pre‑prep and portion control all food before service.
• Ensure clear communication between kitchen, front of house and head office.

Required profile

• A passion for people and creating memorable experiences.

• Fun, positive attitude and long‑term commitment to hospitality.
• Relevant qualification Level 4+ NZQCF or at least two years of relevant experience.
