Front of House Team Member – Beachside Restaurant

About the role

Join the vibrant beachfront team at Moretons in St Heliers, Auckland. As a Front of House Team Member you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering friendly service and helping create memorable dining experiences against a backdrop of Rangitoto Island views.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the flow of the dining area.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Clear tables, reset for the next guests, and maintain a clean front‑of‑house environment.
• Assist with bar duties after training, including drink preparation and service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive attitude.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, energetic and enjoys interacting with people.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable and able to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Willingness to learn bar service after initial training.
