About the role

The Eden Village in Auckland is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a fixed‑term basis. You will join a dedicated team that supports residents by preparing meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Support the healthcare team in serving residents.
• Provide top‑class customer service and maintain high quality standards.
• Continuously learn and develop food‑service skills and knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen or food‑service role.
• Passion for preparing attractive, tasty meals.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑level customer service.
• Flexibility to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Team‑first attitude with strong communication.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow cleaning and food‑safety procedures.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
