English Teacher – Interview in UK July, relocate to NZ

About the role

Epsom Girls Grammar School, a large secondary school for girls in Auckland, is seeking qualified English teachers for its 13‑18 year‑old cohort. Candidates will be interviewed in the UK in early July and, if successful, will relocate to New Zealand to deliver NCEA and Cambridge International curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Levels 1‑3 NCEA and Cambridge IGCSE/AS.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
• Participate actively in the school's co‑curricular programme, including coaching or managing teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified classroom teacher currently teaching 13‑18 year‑old students.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Team‑player with a collaborative mindset.
• Growth mindset with a habit of reflecting on practice.
• NZ teacher registration or ability to obtain it.
• Available for interview in London (8‑9 July) or Manchester (11‑12 July).
