About the role
Join our team at Carter House Lifecare and Village in Te Puke to provide compassionate, high‑quality care to our aged‑care residents. This permanent, full‑time position offers a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful difference each day.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and assistance to residents in accordance with their care plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents' wellbeing.
- Document care activities accurately and report any concerns promptly.
Required profile
- Proven experience caring for others, preferably in an aged‑care setting.
- Minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent qualification.
- At least six months of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Genuine passion for helping people and a commitment to health‑and‑safety standards.
