About the role

Xe is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join its Corporate division in New Zealand. The role focuses on helping businesses manage foreign exchange and international payments, offering a clear development pathway for early‑stage sales professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, events and referrals.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified corporate prospects, maintaining clear next steps and forecasting in the CRM.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand clients’ FX exposure, payment flows and risk‑management needs.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Dealers, Credit and Compliance to design solutions and move prospects from first trade to ongoing relationships.
  • Achieve monthly targets for applications, first‑time trades and new‑business revenue.
  • Represent Xe at industry events, webinars and partner activities.
  • Contribute to sales initiatives and projects as required.
  • Continuously develop sales skills and pursue career progression within the Business Development pathway.

Required profile

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a customer‑facing role.
  • Strong motivation and a high‑performing mindset.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline, forecast accurately and meet sales targets.
  • Willingness to learn, receive mentorship and follow a structured development program.
