Accountant – Advisory Role in Alexandra

About the role

ICL Chartered Accountants Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Alexandra office. The role focuses on supporting a diverse client base, helping businesses and agricultural enterprises grow and succeed through expert financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, RWT, GST, and annual tax returns for a range of clients.
• Provide business advisory services, offering insights to improve client performance.
• Utilise modern accounting tools and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with the practice team to maintain high standards of client service.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Proven ability to work in a business advisory capacity.
• Experience preparing financial statements, RWT, GST, and annual tax returns.
• Strong accounting software proficiency and interest in modern tools.
• Understanding of the primary sector is a plus, but not essential.
