Mobile Application Engineer

About the role

Capgemini's Testing Service Line is looking for a Mobile Application Engineer to design, build and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications. You will work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders, contributing to reusable test frameworks and delivering high‑quality, solution‑driven outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for iOS and Android applications.
• Create reusable test frameworks, utilities and libraries.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA teams to define test strategies.
• Identify and integrate new tools to improve automation coverage.
• Manage the end‑to‑end test lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, defect management and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience, with at least 3 years in test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, Kotlin or similar languages.
• Proven work with mobile automation tools such as XCUITest, Espresso or Appium.
• Experience with UI automation (Selenium, Cucumber BDD) and API testing (Rest Assured, Postman).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with source‑control (GitHub, Bitbucket) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and self‑management skills.
