Demand & Supply Planner – CIC

About the role

The Demand & Supply Planner (CIC) at Clorox is responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts and coordinating production, inventory, and distribution across the CIC network. The role ensures service level targets, inventory goals, and cost objectives are met while supporting new product introductions and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop high‑quality demand forecasts and supply plans.
• Maintain and update the latest MRP data in the planning tool.
• Raise monthly purchase requisitions, manage container loads, and share forecasts with CIC and suppliers.
• Drive phase‑in/phase‑out strategies for promotions and product discontinuations.
• Support new product development (NPD) and product exit strategies, keeping master data accurate.
• Provide input for monthly S&OP meetings, highlighting exceptions and presenting alternatives.
• Track KPI performance such as forecast accuracy, case fill rate, inventory targets, and out‑of‑stock incidents.
• Identify and recommend system or process enhancements for planning capabilities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in demand forecasting or supply planning.
• Degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Self‑driven, process‑oriented, and capable of prioritising tasks autonomously.

Required skills

• Experience with forecasting software, preferably Kinaxis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization.
• Working knowledge of S&OP processes.
