Technical Feed Partner – Dairy Nutrition Specialist

About the role

GrainCorp Animal Nutrition is seeking a Technical Feed Partner to join our team in Taranaki. This newly created position blends deep dairy cow nutrition expertise with a sales‑driven mindset, allowing you to shape the role while supporting farmers to improve herd health and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑farm technical support, including feed analysis and ration formulation.
• Develop and deliver nutritional management strategies tailored to diverse dairy production systems.
• Interpret feed and herd data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote feed solutions and drive business growth.
• Travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dairy cow nutrition, feed formulation, or related animal nutrition roles.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting feed and production data.
• Demonstrated success in agricultural sales or advisory positions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to farmers and rural professionals.
• Hands‑on exposure to on‑farm conditions or commercial feed operations.
