About the role

The Relationship Associate – Agri supports Relationship Managers within ANZ’s Agribusiness team, delivering seamless banking experiences to customers in the agricultural sector. This permanent position offers the chance to develop credit and relationship‑management skills, with the potential to manage a small portfolio after 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customers, understand their business needs and ensure they feel valued.
• Analyse customer portfolios, identify objectives, challenges and value‑adding opportunities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of agribusiness industries and market trends.
• Manage a small client portfolio at senior management’s discretion.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Senior Managers and product partners to deliver tailored solutions.
• Drive customer satisfaction through thoughtful interactions and insightful recommendations.
• Use customer feedback to improve service and support business retention.
• Proactively pursue self‑development while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in financial analysis.
• Good understanding of the agribusiness sector or a willingness to learn it quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Motivation to develop credit and relationship‑management capabilities.
