Property & Construction Solicitor (Senior Level)

About the role

Join Chapman Tripp's national Property, Construction & Major Projects team, working with top‑tier public and corporate clients on development, leasing and construction programmes across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on all aspects of property law, including development, acquisitions, disposals, syndications, procurement, leasing and infrastructure.
• Engage with public sector departments and large corporate clients such as utilities and telecommunications brands.
• Deliver varied and interesting work for key clients, ensuring commercial outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with senior partners and the wider legal team to drive successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of client service and professional conduct.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Commercial property exposure required.
• Commercially astute and client‑focused.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Confident, savvy and natural networker.
