Online Assistant

About the role

The Online Assistant supports Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand’s online fulfilment by picking and packing customer orders accurately, efficiently and safely. The role also involves communicating with other departments about out‑of‑stock items, substitutions and other online enquiries, while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack online grocery orders according to company standards.
• Verify product quality, quantities and packaging for each order.
• Communicate stock issues, substitutions and customer enquiries to relevant teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to make customer‑first decisions.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a welcoming smile.
