Online Assistant

About the role

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking an Online Assistant to pick and pack online orders for our customers. The role focuses on delivering accurate, efficient and safe fulfilment of e‑commerce orders while supporting a friendly, customer‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with other departments about out‑of‑stock items, substitutions and customer enquiries.
• Maintain a strong health and safety mindset for yourself and teammates.
• Ensure orders are prepared for timely delivery or collection.

Required profile

• Understanding of good customer service principles.
• Ability to work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Team player who communicates effectively.
• Friendly smile and welcoming attitude.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; basic computer literacy is sufficient.
