Lead ICT Operations

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Lead ICT Operations professional to manage the strategic delivery and day‑to‑day operation of ICT services across multiple project sites in New Zealand. This 12‑month contract is based in Auckland CBD with occasional travel to the Wellsford site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and optimise ICT infrastructure and services for mobilisation, operation and demobilisation phases.
• Deploy networks, communications equipment, security systems and end‑user technology at project sites.
• Oversee ICT budgets, forecasting, procurement and vendor performance to ensure cost‑effective outcomes.
• Act as the primary ICT liaison, providing technical leadership, project updates and advice to operational teams and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance and regulatory requirements while managing risks and business continuity.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in ICT support within a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Proven track record in managing ICT infrastructure, network environments and project delivery.
• Experience with Service Desk and ticketing systems.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Full driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
