iOS Mobile Engineer – Build Scalable Apps

About the role

Air New Zealand is accelerating its digital transformation and needs a Mobile Engineer (iOS) to create high‑quality, scalable iOS applications used by millions of travelers. You will join a product‑focused team, collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications across Apple platforms using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end features and improve overall app performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to backend‑for‑frontend (BFF) development and support mobile integration.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Apple technologies and best practices, sharing fresh ideas with the team.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and solve complex problems.
