HVAC Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Christchurch‑based team and provide maintenance and minor works across a range of commercial sites in Canterbury. The role offers strong autonomy, a stable 44‑hour week and the opportunity to work on varied locations from Kaikōura to Ashburton.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PPM) on air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Respond to reactive service calls and carry out timely repairs.
• Execute minor upgrades and improvement works across major client portfolios.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the on‑site team and provide technical support as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant HVAC qualification or equivalent experience in commercial settings.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to a full‑time, on‑site schedule.
