Health Screen Consultant (Nurse) – Auckland

About the role

The Health Screen Consultant (Nurse) will work in the Auckland region to collect medical information and blood samples from customers applying for insurance policies, and will occasionally support the Claims Team with additional data gathering. The role operates autonomously while being backed by the regional and head office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gather comprehensive medical information from insurance applicants.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood samples for underwriting purposes.
• Occasionally obtain required data for the Claims Team.
• Maintain accurate records and use technology to document findings.

Required profile

• Current practising nurse or occupational health nurse seeking case‑by‑case work.
• Hold a valid practising certificate.
• Clean driver’s licence and a reliable, road‑worthy vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficient in phlebotomy.
• Strong general knowledge of medical conditions.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology.
