Guest Service Agent – Front Office

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Crowne Plaza Christchurch as a Guest Service Agent. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with luggage and provide a warm, home‑like environment.
• Handle guest check‑in, check‑out and payment processing.
• Answer queries, take reservations and provide detailed information about hotel services, local attractions and events.
• Build relationships with regular guests and maintain accurate guest accounts.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to keep guests and staff safe.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Previous customer‑service experience, preferably in front‑office, reception or reservations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
