About the role

Join Gallagher’s New Ventures team as a Full Stack Software Engineer within the R&D function. You will help design, develop and evolve cloud‑based software platforms that power innovative animal‑management products, collaborating closely with product, design, data and engineering specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud applications and services for the Animal Management portfolio.
• Create and maintain robust APIs and database integrations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer‑facing experiences and connected ecosystems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and influence technical direction in a venture‑style environment.
• Adopt modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and AI‑assisted development tools.
• Explore emerging technologies such as IoT and data‑driven applications.
