Face-to-Face Service Consultant

About the role

As a Service Consultant in ANZ’s Personal Banking portfolio, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the Greymouth branch. You will deliver high‑quality interactions, process financial transactions efficiently, and identify additional customer needs to refer them to the appropriate sales channel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a seamless branch experience by handling end‑to‑end banking transactions and conducting needs‑based conversations.
• Educate customers on digital banking solutions and promote self‑service options.
• Process cash management tasks accurately, including cash holdings, deliveries, and repatriation in line with bank policies.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ and branch procedures, ensuring proper documentation and cash controls.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues.
• Understanding of banking processes and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the NBC banking system.
