Event Executive

About the role

Roam DMC is looking for an Event Executive to own the full lifecycle of standout events, incentive trips and experiences across New Zealand for international clients. You will work closely with the General Manager and Managing Director, turning client briefs into bold programmes and delivering them on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proposal development for international clients, translating briefs into compelling event concepts.
• Build and manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to post‑event follow‑up.
• Plan and execute events and incentive programmes end‑to‑end, coordinating accommodation, transport, venues, experiences and suppliers.
• Oversee logistics and on‑site delivery across Queenstown and wider New Zealand.
• Maintain composure under changing conditions, last‑minute requests and tight deadlines.
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve Roam’s service standards and growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in events, incentive travel, DMC, tourism or high‑touch experiential delivery.
• Proven track record of leading both proposal creation and live event delivery.
• Strong organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, creative and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.
