Digital Marketing Specialist (Retail Ecommerce)

About the role

Join the Ecommerce team to drive digital campaigns for two of New Zealand’s leading retail brands, Briscoes and Rebel Sport. Reporting to the Head of Digital Channels, you will plan, coordinate and optimise activities across email, loyalty, paid social, search and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across email, loyalty, paid social, search and other channels.
• Support campaign roadmap delivery for Briscoes and Rebel Sport.
• Manage email activity, including batch sends and automated programmes through Emarsys.
• Coordinate assets, timings and media activity with internal teams and agency partners.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to the Digital Marketing Coordinator.
• Monitor performance across email, traffic and paid digital channels, sharing insights and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing or retail marketing.
• Experience planning weekly or monthly email programmes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is advantageous.
