About the role
The Otago Cricket Association is looking for an energetic and organised Manager to lead all Dunedin cricket competitions and representative programmes. Reporting to the General Manager – Community Cricket, you will create positive experiences for players, clubs, schools and volunteers while supporting growth and development pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and grade all Dunedin cricket competitions, handling registrations and results.
- Coordinate junior, youth and senior representative programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clubs, schools, coaches, umpires and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with governance, judicial, health and safety and competition administration requirements.
- Lead competition communications, marketing and social media activity.
Required profile
- Passionate about cricket and community sport.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident using technology, databases and digital platforms.
- Effective communicator who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Energetic, proactive and solutions‑focused.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office software and online competition management tools.
